Yiwu is located in the south of Changjiang Delta, and it has become China biggest commodity distributing center through more than 20 years of development. The market business area is 1.5million sq.m., collecting 320,000 kinds of goods. The daily flow population reaches over 20,000 and goods throughput is near ten thousand tons. It attracts 8000odd foreign traders stationed in Yiwu dealing with purchasing export products that sells to 180 odd countries and regions. The clock and watch and glasses industry are the leaders of Yiwu 12 biggest backbone industries and has formed mature business market. Among them, there are 480 odd enterprises dealing with clock and watch producing and processing and trading, the production value reaches to RMB 1,200million and holds a safe lead in the same trade of our country. In 2000 glass special market is set up in Yiwu commodity city with more than 3000 sq.m. business area and is influential glasses distribution center.
