Coco Song? official sponsor of Udine Far East Film Festival

Coco Song?’s image reflects the blend of oriental prestige and luxury with the refinement and originality of Italian design that made the brand a symbol of two seemingly distant and different cultures.
The use of natural materials, like leaves, feathers and silk, bright colors and 150 manual stages by skilled artisans, make all Coco Song? eyewear as unique as the image conveyed by the brand.
The trait d’union par excellence between the west and east, because of Coco Song?’s heritage of cultural and philosophical values, again this year it will be the official and main sponsor of Udine Far East Film 10, now at its tenth edition and due to start Friday, April 18, 2008, in Udine.
Guest of honor at the eagerly-awaited decennial of the Far East Film Festival is the legendary father of “Ring” Hideo Nakata, who will present the international premier of “L Change The WorLd”, a spin-off of the two Death Notes presented at the 2007 Festival.
The great master of contemporary J-Horror will personally cut the tenth ribbon and will symbolically open Horror Day (Wednesday, April 23): the famous spine-chilling marathon, one of the most noted and popular symbols of the Festival, will start with the ghost-movie “Kaidan”, the director’s new and entirely Japanese production which follows his Hollywood successes.
The historical anniversary hosted at the Teatro Nuovo and at Visionario will be celebrated by a packed and wide-ranging program created and organized by the Centro Espressioni Cinematografiche of Udine. There will be 61 movies (international premiers, European premiers, cult, discovery, rediscovery) and numerous fringe events: from afternoon meetings with the main players (actors, directors, script writers, producers) to parties at the city’s venues, from perimeter art (this year, the Click ad Oriente e arte contemporanea giapponese exhibition at Visionario) to the festival-within-a-festival represented by the tireless activities of the bookshop (a real pilgrimage for enthusiasts and collectors) and, obviously, the international conference Ties that Bind (April 21-22) that will analyze the dynamics of production (and co-production) in Asia and Europe.
A packed program sponsored by Coco Song? which, through its beauty and style and thanks also to the international campaign’s new payoff, “Italian design meets oriental luxury”, is more adept than anyone else of expressing a millenary past with deep roots in the East of old.
A brand that amazes, surprises and fascinates. Soon to be launched on the market is the new Coco Song? jewelry line, a skilful combination of eastern-inspired symbols and colors with all-Italian design and style. Diamonds and sapphires embellish refined dragons, the main subject of the collection which also appears on watches. And, like the eyewear line, Coco Song? proposes accessories featuring bright colors; jewels where acetate is combined with details in silk and silver set in diamonds.
