For the Kiton collections Sover has combined Italian creativity with the most innovative technology to create, for example, models with co-injected front pieces and prime quality mineral lenses for a pleasantly retro style revamped in a modern key. A top-level challenge in which shapes and materials, workmanship and colors are perfectly balanced.
Four main concepts are applied to the first seven models, one of which is in solid 18kt gold. In addition to the versions in white and yellow gold, the collection also makes exclusive use of titanium, glass and plastic. Common elements are original tapered temples and the decidedly discreet Kiton logo only on the inside. The colors chosen for the plastic models range from Havana to brown and gray, with refined variations in black-burgundy and mauve. Titanium has gold, ruthenium and palladium tints in addition to black and bronze. Lens colors are extremely soft shades of brown, green and gray. All the glass, polarizing and antiglare lenses are particularly fine, which means that the eyewear is extremely light. All the versions are only slightly wraparound and are suitable for ophthalmic filters.
Models KK7004K and KK7005K feature a co-injected front piece where plastic blends with titanium. Frame shape is classical, but model KK7005K is a more squared-off version.
KK7002K and KK7002K have titanium circles that elegantly emphasize the lens in the plastic frame. Here too, shapes are reminiscent of the line of eyewear that was such a hit in the Sixties and Seventies.
KK7006K and KK7007K have very light titanium front pieces with a plastic circle insertion. Sober shapes and careful color choices make this eyewear a precious masterpiece.
Gold, the precious metal par excellence, is the feature of the top model in the Kiton collection. KK7001K is made in 18kt yellow or white gold. Beauty that lasts forever.
The Kiton packaging is also exclusive: a refined imitation leather box bound by a steel mesh insert. It contains the glasses case, a microfiber cloth, lotion for the lenses and detailed information about how to care for and clean the glasses.
