<p>Born in 1878, LOZZA is the oldest eyewear brand in Italy. Over the decades LOZZA has evolved and has conformed to the different market requests. LOZZA has always been a forerunner in the choice of styles and materials: LOZZA launched in the early Twenties the legendary cellulose sunglasses (till then there were just metal frames), the folding frame in the 30s and the mythical ZILO in the Fifties, a model that marked an epoch and that lived for over fourty years with an enormous success in Italy and abroad. Today LOZZA offers a wide range of sophisticated classical sunglasses with a very good price/quality ratio. The brand targets the stylistically more conservative adult market (ages 35 to 60) searching for quality and tradition. The new collection is characterized by 14 models, offering ever-green shapes conjugated in different materials and different stylistic solutions. Colours are basically classical. LOZZA offers a wide range of proposals in terms of lenses, shifting from the traditional organic and crystal lenses to the highly technical polarized lenses. Lozza's 2006 prescription eyewear collection is dedicated to all those who demonstrate an artistic attitude in the way they look at things - sophisticated, intellectual people who seek frames offering top quality and a vintage character. De Rigo Vision concentrates its efforts on quality and research, creating models, purposely studied by expert designers, capable of guaranteeing a satisfactory artistic drive combined with an ideal show of modernity for its acetates and metals. The colours of the collection derive straight from an artist's palette - mostly neutral, soft tones, with the odd exception of bright greens, oranges, reds and violets, shaded or blended on horn, a material enjoying an enduring success.
