The collection includes the Classic line, which is still Maui Jim’s main line but with additional functions and style elements for summer 2008: ultra-thin glass, adjustable temples with a metal core, spring hinges and adjustable nose pads; the Flexon line in durable, flexible metal keeps its shape longer than traditional metal frames; the Sport line in nylon or Grilamid is durable and lightweight and comes with shock-resistant polycarbonate lenses or graduated lenses.
Sport stainless (with rimless frames and a spring hinge), Sport titanium (ultra-light for golfing enthusiasts), Sport titanium elite (with superior protection without obstructing vision) and Sport shields (frames with curved lenses that are optically corrected by PolarizedPlus2 technology).
Maui Jim also presented the new Maui Readers line for those who like to read in the sun: it has a lunette reading section to optimize distance vision, with invisible near vision when required.
