The fascinating world of the savannah and its wealth of fauna provided the inspiration for the new Roberto Cavalli collection. Zebra patterns, leopard spots and sinuous outlines reminiscent of snakes characterize each of these vision frames. The snake sometimes appears with rhinestone details, sometimes with pointed end pieces that look like a tail, while fur patterns are in the color of the acetate or appear as small temple decorations standing out against a dark, even background.
Narrow, elongated shapes contribute to making the collection even more attractive, while baroque-inspired details confer refinement and elegance. The combination of enamel surfaces and gold-colored metals with a luminous rhinestone-studded RC monogram add the unmistakable touch of luxury that is part of the Maison’s style.
RC 423 Model Palladio: An audacious acetate frame with an all-over fur pattern created for self-assured women who want to be noticed for their elegance. The front piece is wide at the start and becomes gradually narrower from the temples to the tip of the end pieces. An important style element is the rhinestone RC monogram at the start of each temple.
RC 428 Model Mercurio: A gold-colored front piece with temples coated in white enamel make this frame one of the most luminous in the entire collection. A particularly interesting element is the sinuous RC monogram in metal that joins the front piece to the temples. The gold-colored laser decorations on the temples conjure up the animal world in a more refined version, a constant feature of the Roberto Cavalli brand.
RC 429 Model Quarzo: A model that immediately conjures up a world of luxury and where the stylistic elements are clearly baroque-inspired. The steel temples are made by a delicate photoshearing process that creates an elegant pattern form the edge of the lenses to the end pieces to enrich this all-metal frame. Almost hiding the hinge, the RC monogram at the start of the temples is enhanced by tiny points of light.
