La Perla founded by Ada Masotti in 1954 in Bologna, a market leader in underwear and swimwear sectors, in the sixties the son of founder Alberto Masotti, after gardusted in medicine, decided to dedicate himeself to the famaily company and today is the president of La Perla Group with his wife Olga. In 2004 La Perla celebrated it first fifty years of activity, with their production to the markets, La Perla a top class brand that can boast worldwide fame. The company has certainly aspired to this. Some of their famous innovations include modern stretch fibers developed especially for the company and creating the first matching stretch lace sets. Although the company is mostly known for its stylish lingerie, it now has twenty different product lines, including Marvel which is renowned for its beautiful cocktail dresses, Maliza and GrigoPerla, the range for men.
