Vivenne Westwood’s new eyewear collection 2007, produced and distributed by Allison, is inspired by seduction and minimalism and marks a return to classical, rigorous shapes in sophisticated and unusual combinations.
In the sun collection, plastic is either finer, almost invisible, wrapping firmly round the lenses, or it’s thicker where shapes are more rigorous. Shaded lenses are supported by shiny or “quilted” plastic frames in perfect Vivenne Westwood style.
For the vision eyewear, metal combines with plastic to create squared and minimal-chic shapes.
The collection comes in bright colors (purple, red, yellow, fuchsia, white, black) and shiny, glittery and pearly shades.
This time, too, stars of coloured rhinestones decorate the frames or they are in relief on the metal temples.
The encircled logo on every pair makes this Vivenne Westwood collection an unequivocal classic.
